Earlier in the year indie developer KO-OP revealed that GNOG, its upcoming puzzle videogame, would be heading to the PlayStation VR virtual reality (VR) head-mounted display (HMD) for the PlayStation 4. Since then the experience has made showings at events such as E3 and PAX, but hasn’t yet put its VR version on display. For those wondering when they’ll first see the title running in VR, it looks like the reveal will be made either towards the end of this year or early on into the next.

The developer’s Saleem Dabbous confirmed as much to VRFocus in an interview that will be published in full next week. “Yeah, so we really want to start showing it on [PlayStation VR] now that we’re starting to get it looking good and playing well in VR,” the developer said. “And I think we’re gonna– it depends on what events we end up going to but we’re looking at December to January as to when we’re going to start showing and revealing like how it works properly in [PlayStation VR].”

It’s possible, then, that GNOG‘s VR debut will take place at the upcoming second edition of the PlayStation Experience. The fan-focused show was first held in Las Vegas, Nevada in December 2014 but will be heading to San Francisco, California on 5th – 6th December 2015. Sony Computer Entertainment (SCE) are expected to host another opening keynote presentation in which we’ll hopefully learn much more about PlayStation VR itself as well as compatible videogames. The device will be launching in H1 2016 but is yet to get a full date and price.

VRFocus will continue to follow both GNOG and PlayStation VR, reporting back with the latest updates on their progress.
