Get A Close-Up Look At The PlayStation VR Aim Controller

It has been, as perhaps expected, a very busy Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in Los Angeles for the PlayStation VR. Following Sony Interactive Entertainment’s (SIE’s) press conference yesterday the company revealed a number of titles, many exclusives, that will be available for their head-mounted display (HMD) upon its launch in October. These included Capcom’s Resident Evil 7 and experiences for both Square Enix’s Final Fantasy XV, and Star Wars: Battlefront.  One other title that was revealed was Farpoint from Impulse Gear Studios; a first-person shooter set on a far off and uncharted alien world.

Along with its reveal came that of the PlayStation VR Aim Controller, a redesign of the original shooting adapter for PlayStation Move on the PlayStation 3. Whilst an official picture has been revealed it was a side-on view and didn’t show the actual controls themselves. VRFocus was able to take a photo of the Aim Controller however which was part of a display showing the various parts of the PlayStation VR setup.  You can see the images below, including the controller in use on the Fairpoint booth.
