It’s a big week for Oculus VR. The company has announced the launch line-up for the Oculus Rift virtual reality (VR) head-mounted display (HMD), consisting of 30 titles. The company’s mobile-based HMD, Gear VR, hasn’t been left out of the spotlight, however. Oculus VR showcased Minecraft running on the platform earlier this week and, today, it’s been revealed that a new update will be rolling out, including some much-demanded features.

According to Oculus VR engineer James Donlan, an update to the Oculus Mobile app will be coming to phones over the next couple of days with both screenshot and video capture. If you needed proof, Donlan even included a brief clip of a Gear VR experience within the tweet announcing the news. Gear VR fans have been requesting the feature for a long time, especially considering the platform doesn’t output to other traditional displays as seen with PlayStation VR, Oculus Rift and HTC Vive.
