Fusion a multi-platform news and entertainment network, has announced a content and technology collaboration with Littlstar, a virtual reality (VR) and 360 degree content sharing platform. The partnership aims to create immersive stories and technology, catered to Fusion’s audience. Fans will be able to discover, watch, and share content created by Fusion across a wide variety of VR platforms.

“Fusion is one of the most forward thinking networks out there, and they are in a position to really push the envelope in VR storytelling,” said Tony Mugavero, Founder of Littlstar in a statement. “We will be working closely with them to define a new consumer experience for content in this medium, crafting stories that fully leverage Littlstar’s patent pending distribution technology, and helping them distribute VR content to the widest audience possible.”

“As storytellers, we believe the potential VR has as a medium is incredibly exciting. Virtual reality allows people to connect with our stories and experiences in a far more powerful, personal and impactful way. It also helps us as we look for opportunities to take our audience on journeys to worlds that they may not ordinarily be exposed to, said Fusion SVP and Chief Digital Officer Daniel Eilemberg. “We believe that by working with Littlstar, we will be able to increase the reach and impact of Fusion’s immersive VR content.”

Littlstar currently hosts VR content from a wide selection content creators including Nat Geo WILD, Car and Driver, PBS, World of Tanks, Specular Theory, 360 Labs and many more.

VRFocus will continue to bring you the latest news from Littlstar and Fusion, as further announcements are made.
