With the HTC Vive virtual reality (VR) head-mounted display (HMD) finally available to pre-order, developers working on content for the device are gearing up for their own big releases. One such studio is Phaser Lock Interactive, the team behind the upcoming Final Approach. Recently a Steam page for the anticipated title has been posted, complete with a brand new trailer for the project. That trailer can now be seen below.

The footage showcases some hugely improved visuals for the island setting that was first seen when Final Approach was announced last year. It’s here that players use the HTC Vive’s position tracked controllers to chart a course for incoming planes, managing a busy airport environment as they go. The action then moves to a sprawling urban location, where players are put in charge of bigger vehicles. They can even shrink down into the environment and take part in mini-games, like a luggage distribution mechanics seen in the trailer.

Final Approach is also planned to arrive on the Oculus Rift with support for the Oculus Touch position tracked controllers and PlayStation VR, likely with support for the PlayStation Move motion controllers. For now, though, it’s set to launch with the HTC Vive itself on 5th April 2016.
