It’s just been announced that pre-orders for Oculus Ready PCs, a set of rigs from hardware manufacturers that meet the recommended specs of and include and Oculus Rift virtual reality (VR) head-mounted display (HMD) will go live on 16th February 2016. As Oculus VR has made clear, the bundles start at $1499 USD, though this will apparently only be for a limited time. Best Buy has gone a step further, however, and offered prices for every single bundle from Asus, Alienware and Dell, giving you an idea of what’s in your price range.

The prices are below in order of cheapest to most expensive. The latter honour belongs to the Alienware Area 51, which costs some $3,149.98. The cheapest option is the ASUS G11CD-B11 for, of course, $1,499. It’s yet to be confirmed if the ‘limited time’ offer will extend to all of these PCs or just that cheaper model.
