The Oculus Rift might be launching with 30 virtual reality (VR) videogames next week, but there’s plenty more heading to the head-mounted display (HMD) beyond launch. Among these other titles is Eagle Flight, the VR debut from Ubisoft. VRFocus went hands-on with this promising title at the 2016 Game Developers Conference (GDC) earlier this month, and now the first screenshots of it in action have arrived, and can be seen below.

A total of five images of Eagle Flight are on display here. They showcase the title’s stunning Paris setting, depicting a version of the city that man has long left behind. Instead, the city’s population consists of exotic wildlife, an ecosystem that the players will take part in as an eagle. In single-player modes you’ll complete races and challenges while a multiplayer mode offers capture the flag-style gameplay and more.

It’s not yet clear when Eagle Flight will launch beyond a spring 2016 window, although it’s also on its way to the HTC Vive and PlayStation VR. Check back with VRFocus for more on the title.
