Dead and Buried, a virtual reality (VR) first-person shooter (FPS) for the Oculus Rift head-mounted display (HMD) and its upcoming Oculus Touch position tracked controllers, has shown massive improvement over the past few months. A fairly stale demo at last year’s Oculus Connect 2 has someone flourished into the engaging multiplayer experience see at last month’s Game Developers Conference (GDC). So how it the title shaping up for full release?

That’s what VRFocus spoke to Oculus VR itself about during the event. In the interview below Software Engineer Ryan Rutherford talks about designing an Oculus Touch-based experience for multiplayer and how the concept of a Wild West shooter came together.
