Crytek is one of the biggest supporters of virtual reality (VR) with projects like The Climb and Back to Dinosaur Island in the works. At the studios press conference today for the Game Developers Conference (GDC) 2016 its now been revealed the developer is working on a new title, Project Sky Harbor.

There’re few details on Project Sky Harbor at present, all Crytek has revealed the videogame has been developed using Basemark’s VR technology, and that its due for a consumer release this summer.

No head-mounted displays (HMDs) have been confirmed for support, but as its using Basemarks tech its likely Project Sky Harbor will be coming to either the Oculus Rift or the HTC Vive headsets.

The videogame will be available for demonstration at GDC 2016, so VRFocus will endeavour to get further information from Crytek on its new announcement, and report back straight away.
