This weeks batch of releases have now gone live for the Samsung’s mobile head-mounted display (HMD), Gear VR. Hitting the platform today has been free traffic racer 405 Road Rage which takes place on the California 405 Freeway. And for Gear VR owners after something a little less hectic is TouchFish, a comical title set in an aquarium.

TouchFish allows players to nurture, build and play inside your own fish tank. The title originally launched for iOS devices, so one of the benefits is that players don’t need their Gear VR to access your game. It links across Gear VR, New Apple TV, iPhone, and iPad devices giving more opportunities to progress.

First players will need to build their habitat from a wide selection of decorations, plants and creatures. Go for bright and colourful or for a dark and moody vibe, its entirely your call. But it has to be somewhere good for the residents or BuddyFish as they’re called in-game.

Then there’s the nurturing side, the BuddyFish need looking after so they can grow up, and entertained with lots of mini-games. And TouchFish encourages sharing and exploration. Take the BuddyFish to visit your friends worlds, teach their BuddyFish tricks or exchange presents.

TouchFish can be downloaded from the Oculus Store for £5.99 USD, and should be a comfortable experience for most players to enjoy. It doesn’t require a separate Bluetooth controller, but they are supported.
