Today’s Life In 360 is something of a bumper selection as it contains five videos. Why five? These are the winners of the Drury 360 VR Film Contest. The academic contest challenged both students and film school alumni to create a virtual reality (VR) video in 360 degrees. 360fly partnered with the event and donated some of their cameras to New York University so students could get involved. Winners would receive $500 plus the new 4K 360fly camera, whilst honourable mentions also received $100.

Drury set up two locations so that that people could view the finished works on Gear VR. The videos come across three categories: Music videos, ‘Narrative’ and ‘Experimental’. You can see all the winners below.
