Over the past few weeks Seattle-based VRstudios has been widening its distribution with a number of new agreements. The wireless virtual reality (VR) gaming platform provider has partnered with Simuline to offer its tech in Korea, Africa, and the Middle East, and Danish firm Smartlaunch with its worldwide network of gaming and entertainment centres. Today the company has announced a new agreement with Stampede, a US distributor of professional AV solutions.

Stampede will serve as the premier North American ProAV distributor for VRstudios’ products. The deal will add a new category for Stampede, helping accelerate VRstudios’ sales and distribution plans.

“VRstudios is the emerging leader in the global delivery of wireless, full-motion, and multi-user virtual reality experiences for entertainment and commercial enterprise customers,” said Stampede President & COO Kevin Kelly. “We believe that virtual reality is going to have a profound impact on the ProAV industry. The platform and products developed by VRstudios are going to make it possible for our 12,000 resellers to help end-user customers across all of our vertical markets to make virtual reality an integral part of their enterprise.”

“VRstudios has significant growing demand for out products and it really helps to have access to powerful reseller networks like the one offered by Stampede,” siad Charles Herrick, CEO of VRstudios. “The potential for ROI on VR in the industrial sector is enormous and often instantaneous.

“VR is moving from being an interesting application to a business necessity. Companies who adopt VR now will be the innovators and formidable competitors in their industries.”

VRstudios will be attending this weeks Infocomm 2016, one of the largest pro audio/visual events in the US, showcasing its VR platform and products.

VRFocus will continue its coverage of VRstudios, reporting back with any further announcements.
