2016 is set to be a big year for virtual reality (VR). And the technology will be featuring prominently at events and conferences, with the Consumer Electronic Show (CES) 2016 featuring VR FEST in January and the Game Developers Conference (GDC) 2016 with Virtual Reality Developers Conference (VRDC) in March. Dedicated VR event Virtual Reality Los Angeles (VRLA) has championed the technology for a while now, and organisers for its next show, also in January have now announced more companies exhibiting.

New to the roster are, MPC VR who created a VR adventure ride, starring Jack Black & Directed By Rob Letterman for Sony Pictures’ Goosebumps. Radiant Images will be showcasing a variety of live action VR capture rigs, VR mobility solutions, live VR broadcasting capabilities & more. Virzoom Inc builds sensors which turn your own bicycle or stationary bicycle into a customized VR game machine.

Ximmerse is a mobile VR input solution. The company is looking for VR content creators who are looking for motion controllers or mobile VR interaction solutions. Ricoh with the THETA S, a 2nd generation portable 360 degree camera with improved image and video quality. While Virtually Live will be showcasing how individuals can experience live sports and & events through VR.

The VRLA Winter Expo will be returning to the LA Convention Center and Petree Hall, being held on January 23rd 2016. Tickets are still available to buy until Friday 18th December, all the Early Bird prices for students and general attendees are no longer available.
