I reviewed the Xiaomi Mijia Mi Sphere 360 camera (seriously wtf is with that name) not as a device to shoot spherical video, but an action camera with footage that can be panned and shaped according to what you want to see. I stitched the footage with the (sadly now decommissioned) Dashwood VR plugins for Premiere then keyframed my animation with the seriously great insta360 studio app. https://www.insta360.com/download
