Techland and subsidiary studio, ShortBreak Studios, have today released the follow-up to 2014’s popular The Collider with a virtual reality (VR) compatible sequel. The Collider 2 is now available for both HTC Vive and Oculus Rift via Steam. A trailer for the title can be seen below.

Playable on both a traditional 2D monitor and a VR head-mounted display (HMD), The Collider 2 is a racing videogame with a difference. There are no AI racers to beat and no ‘tracks’ to cruise around; instead the player is automatically propelled along a linear path and must avoid obstacles while completing additional objectives.

VRFocus delivered a review of The Collider 2 earlier today, stating: “It’s fast and intense and extremely satisfying.”

The Collider 2 is available via Steam now, priced at £6.99, and is compatible with both HTC Vive and Oculus Rift from launch. VRFocus will keep you updated with all the latest VR software from both Techland and ShortBreak Studios.
