SVRVIVE AB is a Stockholm-based studio that has a debut virtual reality (VR) title SVRVIVE, and it has come onto the VR scene in a big way.
After receiving a hefty seed fund of £1.8 million (USD), the demo of SVRVIVE has been revealed as the first piece of work that has come from the studio. SVRVIVE is a mystery title for the HTC Vive where the player is abducted from Earth to join an alien agent workforce. This videogame has lots of investigating and exploring to be done, all while you are trying to understand the mission to locate the missing pieces of the Deus Helix, and trying to stay alive.

This isn’t the only piece of news, as the studio now has an advisory board of tech and gaming heavyweights, including HTC’s SVP of Virtual Reality, Rikard Steiber, Neat Corporation’s Founder, Jenny Nordenborg (who also created Budget Cuts), and Spotify’s Legal Advisor, Sofia Sheppard.
Vangelius went on to comment on the creation of the advisory board: “It’s truly an honor to have HTC Vive’s very own Rikard Steiber, Jenny Nordenborg of Neat Corp/Budget Cuts and a bunch of other smart minds as our advisors. The fact that they believe in both our studio and our first game from day one has energized our entire team.”
