Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) has begun adding PlayStation VR software to the PlayStation 4’s digital marketplace, the PlayStation Store. 5 titles are currently listed for the device, including highly anticipated launch titles RIGS: Mechanized Combat League, Until Dawn: Rush of Blood and PlayStation VR Worlds.

SIE confirmed the pricing strategy of PlayStation VR software at this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), stating that titles would be available in the range of $9.99 USD to $59.99, and these new listings on the PlayStation Store confirm just that. Below follows the current selection of titles presented on the PlayStation Store and their pricing:

Hustle Kings VR – $17.99 PlayStation VR Worlds – $34.99

RIGS: Mechanized Combat League – $54.99

Super Stardust Ultra VR – $17.99

Until Dawn: Rush of Blood – $17.99

There’s no real surprises in that line-up, however Until Dawn: Rush of Blood being offered at the lowest of the current three price brackets is perhaps unexpected.

Sony Adds PlayStation VR Titles to PlayStation Store, Official Pricing Revealed

The PlayStation Store pages for each title offer details on the number of players and required accessories, while some go into detail about the screen resolution offered. Of course, as these titles are being played via the PlayStation VR head-mounted display (HMD), the generic HD statistics are perhaps not as accurately interpretable as on a traditional 2D display.

The PlayStation VR is set to launch on 13th October 2016, with a ‘good suite’ of videogame titles said to be available alongside the HMD. VRFocus has prepared a guide for the PlayStation VR launch and also the necessary accessories for PlayStation VR that gamers will have to invest in prior to launch, so be sure to check them out if you want to be ready on day one.
