You’re gonna feel like these people did at Ontario’s Wonderland theme park yesterday. Right, they made the poor decision to go on the lumberjack ride, a ridiculous contraption with two hydraulic arms shaped like axes that swing back and forth like a pendulum and occasionally loop around 360 degrees. And wouldn’t you know it? It suddenly stopped at the tippy top, leaving all the passengers stuck hanging upside down 75 feet in the air. And when I say “upside down,” I mean straight up, 90 degree angle, they couldn’t be in a worse spot. So they’re just dangling there while a crowd gawks from below, or from the riders’ perspective, above, and you can hear them screaming. Then, at one point, you hear park staff ask through a megaphone, “Is everyone doing OK up there?” To which everyone shouts back in unison: “No!”
