Owlchemy Labs’ Job Simulator achieves what so very few videogames manage to master: being funny. However, it’s not a simple case of scripted comedy, but humour that emerges from the freeform gameplay that Job Simulator provides. It’s designed to be funny, but open enough for players to explore their own fun. VRFocus recently spoke with Alex Schwartz, Co-Founder and CEO at Owlchemy Labs, about the title and the process the studio has been through in creating Job Simulator for virtual reality (VR).

Schwartz discusses the existing Job Simulator and how the team at Owlchemy Labs got to this point at which they have become deeply involved in VR. He also comments on the process through which the team have selected which jobs should be included in Job Simulator and the world through which the player will experience them. These and more details are discussed in the interview below, and VRFocus will bring you more coverage of Job Simulator in the very near future.
