More and more video game development conferences, expos and seminars are including specific tracks devoted to virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR) or even both. That trend continues with the returning Austin Game Conference, the 2016 edition of which will be held at the Austin Convention Center across September 21st and 22nd.

A number of high end names are already confirmed for the event which will also have tracks devoted to Live Design, Live Business, Live Production and Audience Participation which relates to the areas of both streaming and eSports. A keynote speech will be delivered Magic Leap’s Head of Games Graeme Devine which may prove insightful as to what the secretive company is planning. Other notable VR related names include Oculus owners Facebook, Job Simulator developer Owlchemy Labs and Valve. Whilst other confirmed attendees include Riot Games, CD Projekt Red, EA and Trion.

Other activities include the ‘AGC Intel Game Developer Showcase’ which will be spotlighting ten game developers.
