Epic Games’ middleware development software Unreal Engine is one of the most widely used programs for creating videogames and apps. It’s freely downloadable and includes tutorials for those new to the program. Today Epic Games’ Korean subsidiary has announce a new program that’ll tour the country offering developers looking to learn more about Unreal Engine 4.

Called ‘Let’s Start Unreal Engine’ Epic Games Korea will be holding seminars at five cities across the country during September 2016. There will be four sessions for aspiring developers to learn how to create videogames for mobile, virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) platforms. As an added bonus Epic Games’ VR demo Bullet Train will also be on hand for people to play.

The city schedule is:

Daejeon on 6th September

Gwangju on 7th September

Jeonju on 8th September

Daegu on 20th September

Busan on 21st September

The four sessions will be: Intro to Unreal, hosted by Epic Games Korea Developer Relations Manager Hyojong will go over basics of Unreal Engine 4 for those new to tools. Technical Artist Yonghoon will go over elements in Major Features of Unreal Engine, such as UMG, Persona and Cascade. Additional topics will include an introduction to the powerful new cinematic tool, Sequencer. Then there’s Blueprint in UE4 in which Engine Support Technician Dongsik will demonstrate UE4’s Blueprint visual scripting system and create a simple mobile game from start to deployment on a device. While the last session focuses on VR and AR with UE4. Developer Relations Lead Kwangsub will lead this session for those new to building VR & AR content.
