Tactera is a videogame title that most virtual reality (VR) aficionados will already be familiar with, having benefited from an early launch on the ‘Concepts’ channel for Samsung Gear VR. With the release of the final version fast approaching, VRFocus spoke with E McNeill, developer of Tactera, to find out just what gamers can expect from the videogame.

As VRFocus recently revealed, Tactera is coming to Gear VR later this month. However, McNeill has also confirmed his ambitions to bring the title to Oculus Rift, HTC Vive and PlayStation VR in due course. This, along with Darknet, showcases the developer’s ideals for strategy gameplay in VR. McNeill states in the interview below that these two titles are a handful enough, however it’s more than likely we’ll be hearing more from the developer in the future, especially given his enthusiasm for the recently announced Daydream mobile VR platform from Google.

The full interview with McNeill follows below, and VRFocus will keep you updated with all the latest details on the forthcoming Tactera.
