At the Samsung Unpacked event prior to the 2016 Mobile World Congress (MWC) last month, the company revealed its flagship Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge smartphones.  It also confirmed anyone pre-ordering one of the devices would get a free Gear VR virtual reality (VR) head-mounted display (HMD). Today Cricket Wireless has announced it’ll be offering the Samsung Galaxy S7 for $649.99 USD in stores and online beginning 18th, March 2016.

Any customers who purchase the smartphone from Cricket between the 18th March – 1st April will be eligible for a Gear VR plus a six videogame bundle, worth a total of approximately $150 USD. There’re three different bundles available with different retailers offering certain ones, its unclear which bundle will be included with the Cricket offer.

The first bundle also offers CCP Games’ Gunjack, Coatsink Software’s Esper 2, Robot Invader’s Dead Secret and Escape Velocity’s Star Chart. The second includes OZWE Games’ Anshar Wars 2, E McNeill’s Darknet, SharpSense’s DRIFT, and Star Chart. The third bundle has Ustwo Games’ Land’s End, Skonec Entertainment’s Mortal Blitz VR, Glu Games’ Deer Hunter VR and Llyr ap Cenydd’s Ocean Rift.

There’re more than 3,800 Cricket Wireless stores across the US, and it claims its 4G LTE coverage is better than T-Mobile, MetroPCS, Sprint or Boost. VRFocus will continue its coverage of Samsungs Galaxy S7 and Gear VR devices, reporting back any further announcements.
