Wednesday is here, which includes (amongst other things) the first day of this year’s Google I/O event. It may, or may not prove a busy evening for us depending on what Google has in mind to reveal so be sure to keep track with VRFocus throughout the day for all the latest news.

For now though we get things underway for the day with an experience courtesy of the BBC and their BBC Taster series. Taster is the BBC’s ‘home of new ideas’ where the corporation puts public various programmes and features which are in a different format or use different technology from the norm – in this case virtual reality (VR). Available within your standard desktop, but also compatible with Google Cardboard, join Alexander Armstrong on an trip inside the Pantheon in Rome as well as heading underground to explore where the stone that made it came from.

You can try out Rome’s Invisible City VR here.
