Things may be ramping up for the release of the consumer version of the Oculus Rift virtual reality (VR) head-mounted display (HMD) in just a few months’ time, but Oculus VR’s free software sharing portal, Oculus Share, is still being loaded with brand new experiments and experiences. Joining them most recently is a brand new title named Dead Bug Creek, bringing a whole new adventure to VR.

Dead Bug Creek is a first-person exploration title that was first shown as the VR Village at Siggraph in Los Angeles last year. It tasks players with exploring an alien world as they look for ‘The Ultimate Prize’, and they’ll meet an array of imaginative creatures along the way. These plans are interrupted somewhat when the players meets an ‘adventurous young girl’ in a desolate desert town.
