Events such as the Game Developers Conference (GDC), CES and Google I/O this year show just how much companies are ramping up support for virtual reality (VR), with some sort of announcement now expected. And it’s not just the US shows that feature VR, almost all tech events around the globe seem to feature the technology in some way and this months Computex 2016 in Taipei, Taiwan is no different. ZOTAC, owned by PC Partner Group Limited will be showcasing its next generation solutions for VR, videogames, commercial and industrial applications at the show.
Taking centre stage for ZOTAC’s VR line-up will be the MAGNUS EN980 mini-PC. Part of the company’s ZBOX mini-computer range, the MAGNUS EN980 features a 6th generation Intel Skylake processor and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 graphics card, aimed squarely at the VR consumer market.
Other features include support for up to four displays via HDMI and DisplayPort, USB 3.1 type-C port which delivers up to 10Gbps data transfer rate, dual gigabit LAN and 802.11ac WiFi and liquid cooling.

Also being unveiled at Computex 2016 will be the latest ZOTAC GeForce GTX 10 series graphics cards. Not only featuring NVIDIA’s latest Pascal architecture ZOTAC will also be adding an all new SPECTRA lighting system. NVIDIA held a press conference earlier this month to reveal the new flagship GeForce GTX 1080 and its sibling the GeForce GTX 1070 graphics cards.
NVIDIA’s GTX 1080 will be coming out on 27th May, retailing for $599 USD, with a Founders Edition coming at $699. The GTX 1070 is set to launch a little later on 10th June at the price of $379, with the Founders Edition selling for $449.
ZOTAC will be demonstrating all of its VR technology to visitors going to Computex 2016, taking place between 31st May – 4th June at the Nangang Exhibition Center.
