Late last year VRFocus reported that Vertigo Games and Jaywalker Interactive’s anticipated virtual reality (VR) zombie shooter, Arizona Sunshine, would be coming to the Oculus Rift head-mounted display (HMD) with Oculus Touch support, alongside the already confirmed HTC Vive edition. Since then, Vertigo Games itself was listed as one of over 230 developers working on the PlayStation VR HMD for PlayStation 4. This begged the question, is Arizona Sunshine coming to PlayStation VR? VRFocus can now confirm that is the case.

In an interview with John Coleman, the team’s Director of Business Development, it was confirmed that the first-person shooter (FPS) would be making its way to Sony Interactive Entertainment’s (SIE’s) platform at some point in the future. No other details were announced although, presumably, the PlayStation 4 version of the title will utilise the PlayStation Move motion controllers, given that this type of input is required for both the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive compatible versions of the title.

Arizona Sunshine was recently on display at the 2016 Game Developers Conference (GDC), where Vertigo Games showcased co-op gameplay for the title. The experience allows players to fend off wave upon wave of incoming undead, using motion controls to aim and fire guns. It’s not yet clear when any edition of the experience will be launching.
