At NAB Show 2017, my friend Svend Even Haerra and I got to try HypeVR, a camera that uses a 360 camera rig (with RED cameras) and LiDAR to capture volumetric video with 6 degrees of freedom. You can move around inside the movie, and even peer inside (some) objects!
