I’ve been using the Meta Quest 3 since it came out. By far the biggest issue is that it can get pretty uncomfortable after not too long.
The main reason for this is because Meta ships the Quest 3 with a basic fabric head strap. It offers little in the way of weight distribution and eventually the headset drags on the face.
I was very surprised that Meta stuck with this basic design after most users complained about the same strap on the Quest 2.
Thankfully you can easily replace the standard head strap with one of the many third party options available. In this video I test out the DESTEK QH3 which provides a much more comfortable experience. Which ever you choose just make sure it’s fully adjustable and features straps on top and the back of the head.
