It’s not long until the Oculus Rift virtual reality (VR) head-mounted display (HMD) finally starts to ship, which means that it’s also not long until one of its most anticipated launch titles, ADR1FT, arrives as well. The HMD will begin to ship on 28th March 2016, which is when the first slate of titles will launch too, including the anticipated space survival title from Three One Zero. Recently a new trailer for the VR videogame has been posted online and, with it, a member of US rock group, Weezer, has revealed his involvement in the project.

The trailer, seen below, offers nearly two minutes of footage of ADR1FT and quotes from preview articles to the soundtrack of Clair de lune, the third movement of Claude Debussy’s classic Suite bergamasque. With the arrival of the trailer, Weezer’s official Twitter account noted that the band’s guitarist, Brian Bell, had contributed to the soundtrack with a piano piece. It’s not clear if it’s Bell’s rendition of Clair de lune heard in the trailer, or if the musician has worked on another track for the upcoming title.

The trailer gives you a sense of ADR1FT‘s tone and mechanics. Players are cast as an astronaut that survives a disastrous accident on board a space station, leaving them to scour the wreckage for air in order to survive. Along the way, they’ll discover how they can to be in this situation, exploring zero gravity environments and uncovering clues. The title is being developed using Epic Games’ Unreal Engine 4, and is also expected to support the HTC Vive later down the line. Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions are also in the works, with the latter thought to be supporting PlayStation VR too.
