While companies like Google, Oculus VR, HTC and Sony Computer Entertainment (SCE), regularly grab the headlines when it comes to virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) news, there are other players in these fields. One of them is Vuzix Corporation, a supplier of video eyewear and smart glasses products in the consumer, enterprise and entertainment markets. The company has now announced that it’ll be attending next weeks Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2016 event in Barcelona, Spain.
For the show Vuzix will be showcasing its next generation M300 Smart Glasses, as well as its iWear Video Headphones and M100 Smart Glasses. The M300’s are Vuzix’ next generation of smart glasses, with better ergonomics and faster processing power running Android 6.0. The build of the glasses are designed specifically for enterprise, industrial and medical use, with a rugged casing.
