Storytelling in virtual reality (VR) has huge potential, but there’s also a long way to go before it reaches its full potential. One developer that knows this better than most is Nick Pittom of Fire Panda. Pittom has had his hands in many VR projects over the past few years, including videogames like Crystal Rift and the upcoming Echo Red as well as stories such as COLOSSE. Today at the 2016 VRUK Festival, he’s talking about those experiences in a session titled: ‘VR Storytelling: World Building for Experiences and Games’. VRFocus is liveblogging the session below.

A description for the event reads: “Nick talks about his experiences with building different types of VR, from storytelling to games and apps, and how each has taught lessons on the best way to craft a VR experience for users.”
