VRTGO 2015 is now well underway in Newcastle, UK and it’s not time to hear from PlayCanvas. The company’s Will Eastcott will be talking ‘PlayCanvas: Forget Native – VR belongs on the web’ and VRFocus is liveblogging the event below.
“In preparing VR for the mass market, much of the focus has been on native experiences,” the talk’s description explains. “In other words, apps or applications you have to download and install. Meanwhile, Google and Mozilla have been hard at work on the WebVR open standard. This talk examines the technology that is enabling VR on the web and explains how it’s going to have a far bigger impact than you might imagine.”
