More virtual reality (VR) meetups have been announced this week, this time from the Netherlands. Taking place in February, Virtual Reality Netherlands (VRNL) has revealed the first VR 040 meetup will be held in Eindhoven for VR enthusiasts in the area.

The event is on Wednesday, 24th, February 2016 from 4:30pm to 8:00pm CET at the science park. From 4:30pm until 6:00pm will able to try out the VR demos available, after 6pm until the end several talks will be held, with food and refreshments available. Currently the organisers haven’t yet released any further details on who will be holding the sessions and what demos might be available to demo. The VRNL meetup group is very active with 23 previous events held. It’ll also be hosting a VR Game Jam for Retro and Arcade gaming next week at the Erasmus Centre for Entrepreneurship in Rotterdam, from Saturday, 13th February, 2016 9:00am to Sunday, 14th February, 2016, 8:00pm CET.

The official description reads:” We will have a large, open space for presentations, a few offices for teams to work and brainstorm, and open tables for everyone to work. Of course, we are also giving you plenty of opportunity for a bit of R&R between the coding. We will have a console ready, filled with numerous old arcade games, as well as a HTC Vive for inspiration.”
