It’s been a while since the virtual reality (VR) community has heard from Arizona Sunshine, the anticipated first-person shooter (FPS) from World of Diving studio Vertigo Games and Kick & Fennick creator Jaywalkers Interactive. The title was initially announced for the HTC Vive head-mounted display (HMD) and, late last year, Oculus VR confirmed that it would also be heading to the Oculus Rift with support for the Oculus Touch controllers. This week some new screenshots of the project have arrived, and can be seen below.

Two new images are on display below, showcasing the zombie shooter’s gruelling undead enemies and harsh sunny environment. Arizona Sunshine will allow players to realistically wield weapons as these zombies approach, taking them down in a brutal fashion. The title will make full use of the HTC Vive’s Room Scale user-tracking, allowing players to walk around an area of up to 15-feet by 15-feet and have those movements replicated in-game. The project was hoping to launch by the end of 2015, though the delay of the HTC Vive into April 2016 obviously prevented this from happening.
