Secret Location the award-winning content studio behind virtual reality (VR) horror experience Insidious Chapter 3: Into the Further has announced a collaboration with Entertainment One (eOne). This partnership will see the two companies create a new music platform Floodlight, designed to enhance and extend the music fan experience across multiple platforms.

As part of the launch eOne has confirmed the first offering on Floodlight will be an exclusive VR video for the song “Take it All” by rock band Pop Evil.  To date Pop Evil has sold 1.3 million singles, and its current album “Up” debuted at number one on the Billboard Independent Chart.

Chris Taylor, President of eOne Music Global, comments, “We’re thrilled to partner with Secret Location to make the music fan experience more immersive. It’s exciting to kick Floodlight off with Pop Evil and we are looking forward to working with our talented artists to deliver the music experience to fans in new and innovative ways.”

James Milward, Founder & Executive Producer of Secret Location, adds, “More and more the institutional walls are breaking down, creating a direct connection between artist and fan, whether it’s through social media, live shows, product collaborations or content. Floodlight provides a simple and scalable way to connect these communities, enabling extraordinary value for fans, and monetizing that connection for artists.”

Fans will also be able to pre-order an exclusive bundle for $29.99 USD which  includes a Pop Evil branded Google Cardboard 3D viewer, Pop Evil 360 app, an autographed CD and a Pop Evil t-shirt. All this will be made available from 27th May 2016, when the app can be downloaded from Google Play or the App Store.
