Virtual Umbrella has confirmed to VRFocus that the next event in the popular series, ‘VR in a Bar’, will take place next month. Still presented as a partnership with London’s infamous videogames venue, Loading Bar, the event will mark virtual reality’s (VR) debut at a new location in Stratford.
VR in a Bar has proved popular over the past year, with several events seeing the likes of Tammeka Games presenting Radial-G: Racing Revolved, the team behind Pixel Ripped in attendance and Triangular Pixels’ Smash Hit Plunder, amongst others. This latest edition of the event proposes the biggest line-up of exhibitors yet.
Confirmed exhibitors for this next event include 4PM Games with Negotiator VR, currently undergoing a Kickstarter campaign, and the VRgo Chair. Also in attendance will be Unit 9, Fouthwall, Opto, Subpac, Psytec Games, Momentum VR and Property Scape. More exhibitors are set to be revealed next week.
The event will take place at Stratford Loading Secret Weapon, West Ham Lane, London, E15 4PH, on 2nd June 2016, from 18:00 to 22:00 BST. Tickets for the event are available now, via Eventbrite, at a cost of £5 GBP per ticket. Tickets guarantee entrance and a free drink.
