Today’s the big day for the HTC Vive virtual reality (VR) head-mounted display (HMD) as the first units finally start to arrive for VR fans that pre-ordered them back in February 2016. An overwhelming number of videogames are due to hit the kit in a matter of hours and in the days, weeks and months that follow. Joining them at some point down the line will be a new arcade shooter by the name of Vertigo. While this full title isn’t releasing today, a demo will be in support of the launch of a Steam Greenlight campaign.

Developed by Zulubo Productions, Vertigo is described as a story-based shooter set in the underground facilities of fictional Planck International Energy Solutions’ Quantum Reactor. Players are tasked with finding their way to surface in order to escape, though the sheer size of the reactor will make this no easy task. Past occupants have left behind tools that you can use to fighter back against security drones and other threats. You’ll even be able to open wormholes to travel through larger levels and walk between four different dimensions.

The first trailer for the project can be seen below. It’s not yet clear when the full release will take place, though that’s obviously dependent on the title passing its Greenlight campaign to actually be sold on Steam.
