Virtual reality (VR) tech is set to receive yet another showcase later this week at the 2016 Gadget Show Live event in Birmingham, UK. Running from 31st March – 3rd April, the show sees technology of all kinds gather under one roof for the public to come and try out. VR has had a presence at the event for the past few years, and 2016 will be no different. In fact, VR marketing company Virtual Umbrella is even offering developers a free spot to show off their content at the event.

The company is looking for VR and augmented reality (AR) studios to come forth with showcase content which it will exhibit for no charge. The successful applicant will have their title on display next to the likes of the Merge mobile-based head-mounted display (HMD) and Curiscope with its Virtuali-Tee product. Anyone interested in taking the spot should content Virtual Umbrella’s Albert Millis at bertie@virtualumbrella.marketing.
