You may have already seen VRFocus‘ preview of VicoVR, a promising solution to user-tracking for a wide range of virtual reality (VR) head-mounted displays (HMDs). The tech was on display at the 2016 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) at the beginning of January, and impressed with its demos on display, even if they did present some issues. In the interview below Dmitry Morozov, Co-Founder of VicoVR creator 3DiVi Company, outlines the basic premise behind VicoVR, and how it allows for a greater level of control with mobile-based VR HMDs. There’s also footage of the system in action.
