British inventor Colin Furze has revealed a new video on his YouTube channel, that gives viewers a 360 degree virtual reality (VR) tour of his apocalypse proof bunker. Furze has teamed up with Sky 1 alongside the channels new series You, Me & The Apocalypse, for the project using his back garden to create the bunker.

The bunker is more of an underground man cave and survival cell rolled into one, filled with UV lighting, ejecting beds, a drum kit and more. The video features shout-outs from Sky1’s You, Me & The Apocalypse stars Mathew Baynton and Gaia Scodellaro and featuring Joe Weller, Patricia Bright and the Saccone Jolys.

As well as creating the bunker, Furze also has a role in the Sky 1 drama, appearing as a market trader selling blueprints for an apocalyptic bunker. And he’s not the only YouTube star on the show with cameos from: scientist VSauce, family vloggers The Saccone–Jolys, lifestyle presenter Patricia Bright, and Brighton-based Joe Weller. Colin is joined by some of his fellow YouTuber’s to watch the final episode of You, Me & The Apocalypse, mirroring the characters in the show gathering together for the end of mankind.

The 360 degree VR video can be viewed via a compatible browser and controlled with the WASD keys, it can also be viewed on a smartphone with the YouTube app for the 360 degree experience. If you own a Google Cardboard or similar head-mounted display (HMD) you can view the video through the YouTube app for a more immersive experience.
