Recently VRFocus reported on Walt Disney Studios announcing a virtual reality (VR) experience based on a new live action edition of The Jungle Book called Through Mowgli’s Eyes. Today Disney along with Samsung revealed the debut of Cold Lairs. This second instalment will be available exclusively for Samsung Gear VR head-mounted display (HMD) through Samsung Milk VR.

Cold Lairs gives viewers the opportunity to see the world of The Jungle Book through Mowgli’s eyes as he embarks on a journey of self-discovery. In the experience Mowgli meets free-spirited bear Baloo (voiced by Bill Murray) and panther-turned-stern mentor Bagheera (Ben Kingsley). Gear VR owners only have until 14th April to view Cold Lairs.

The Jungle Book premiered recently in Hollywood and Samsung was there along with stars from the film, Faizon Love, Neel Sethi, Ritesh Rajah and more with the mobile HMD. Fans got to meet the stars as well as view scenes from the movie via the headset on the Samsung viewing deck.
