Oculus VR has been placing a heavy emphasis on its Oculus Touch controllers for the Oculus Rift virtual reality (VR) head-mounted display (HMD) of late. Earlier in the month the company released 2 new videos taking an in-depth look at the position-tracked input system and its Toybox tech demo. Now yet another video has surfaced online, showcasing a range of compatible titles, including the debut of one Cloudhead Games’ The Gallery: Call of the Starseed, which had previously only been seen running on the HTC Vive HMD.

A 41 second clip is below, showcasing a range of titles that are coming to the device next year. This includes already confirmed experiences such as VR Sports Challenge, Final Approach, Surgeon Simulator, Skyworld and Nimbus Knights. Also seen for the first time in an Oculus Touch-related video is World of Diving from Vertigo Games, which VRFocus has already reported is prepping Oculus Touch support, as well as the previously mentioned first-person adventure experience from Cloudhead Games, which was only recently showcased on the HTC Vive at PAX Prime.

Oculus Touch is scheduled to arrive in Q2 of 2016, some months after the launch of the Oculus Rift itself in Q1. The kit consists of a pair of handheld devices, each sporting their own analogue sticks, buttons, triggers and even support for gesture recognition. Every set of controllers will also be coming packed in with an additional sensor. The HMD will be packed in with an Xbox One controller that players can continue to expect to use for certain types of experiences even after Oculus Touch has launched.

VRFocus will continue to follow Oculus Touch closely, reporting back with the latest updates on the tech’s progress.
