Putting the Insta360 One X and its capabilities to the test, I decided to do a walkaround with it mounted onto my GoPro head attachment (it comes with a compatible mount) and film this 360 video of their booth at CES 2019.
Lightweight and powerful, all of its features work on both 360 and 2D video, including the timeshift segments you’ve seen in this video that are similar to doing a hyperlapse video segment. Comparing this to the Samsung Gear 360 and the GoPro Fusion, the footage quality is outstanding on this lightweight camera. Even its built-in FlowState Stabilization is quite outstanding, as you can see that there’s barely any shaky movement while I walk. If you look closely, you can barely see any stitched seamlines in the video.
