Virtual reality (VR) compatible racer Trackmania Turbo has now launched for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC earlier this week. The videogame has been confirmed to support the Oculus Rift and PlayStation VR head-mounted displays (HMDs), but with the Oculus Rift launch this week there’s been no confirmation of when the title is likely to appear on the device. To mark the launch developer Nadeo and publisher Ubisoft have released a new trailer.

Trackmania Turbo is an extreme racer with 200 tracks split over five difficulty levels. These tracks are spaced across 4 different environments: Rollercoaster Lagoon, International Stadium, Canyon Grand Drift and Valley Down & Dirty each offering different gameplay mechanics.

As in previous Trackmania titles the videogame features a full track editor to customise your own course, or randomly generate one for a quicker race.

Its unclear if all the console features will be included in the VR version, but as further details are released VRFocus will bring you the latest news.
