The Virtual Reality Los Angeles (VRLA) Winter Expo is just a few days away, being held on Saturday 23rd, January. Lots of exhibitors and tech virtual reality tech has been announced for the event with Starbreeze Studios, Crytek and the HTC Vive Pre and many more all confirmed as attending. The expo will also feature an after party with further demos and networking opportunities available, and VR developer Survios has recently revealed it’ll be showcasing its latest project there, Raw Data.  

As Survios will be hosting the after party the studio will be demoing Raw Data as well as live-streaming via its Twitch channel the very first footage of the new VR experience. Currently very little is known about the title, only that its a co-op VR first-person shooter (FPS) where players have complete freedom of movement in real space. The demos will take place using the HTC Vive head-mounted display (HMD) and the live-stream will go live at 9pm PST if you want to watch.

The developer whose previous credits include the award-winning title Zombies on the Holodeck, hinted at the new title a couple of weeks ago while the Consumer Electronic Show (CES) 2016 was being held. Staff teased that visitors to the VRLA Winter Expo: “will need a sharp mind and an active body to decimate a wave of killer androids and get out alive.”
