Head over to Steam and you’ll find a raft of content for the newly released HTC Vive head-mounted display (HMD), labelled front and centre on the main page. In amongst all of them is Surgeon Simulator VR: Meet The Medic a little teaser to Bossa Studios’ Surgeon Simulator VR.

Surgeon Simulator VR: Meet The Medic puts players in the role of Team Fortress 2’s medic, who needs to operate on the Heavy. Using an assortment of tools, fire axes, pliers, wrenches and more, it’s up to you to save him, or not as you can remove most of his organs.

Most notable about the release is that it’s completely free to download, anybody who’s already received their HTC Vive can jump straight into Surgeon Simulator VR: Meet The Medic. That’s if they’re not playing one of the bundled videogames supplied free of charge, Fantastic Contraption, Tilt Brush or Job Simulator.

VRFocus will continue its coverage of Bossa Studios, reporting back any further announcements.
