I show you the entire workflow from building your paper plane and mounting it on Insta360 One X, until the last steps of post-production. Tracking any flying objects is quite difficult, even with a drone. But what if your object can’t really fly for a long time, just like a paper plane or model planes?

This time I show you how to create such a fake drone effect, which looks like your camera was following a paper airplane all along a long flight. And all you need is a 360 camera to recreate this trick.

It’s so simple, that after watching this tutorial you can make this spectacular film effect easily for yourself in minutes.

To shorten post-production I was shooting with Insta360 One X, so after installing Insta360 plugins in Premiere, I didn’t need to bother with stitching and stabilizing my footage.
