Ubisoft announced the release dates for their first three virtual reality (VR) videogames during Gamescom, Cologne, last week. Following that announcement retailers have begun taking pre-orders for all three titles, and along with that comes the reveal of the official box art design for Star Trek: Bridge Crew, Eagle Flight and Werewolves Within on the PlayStation 4’s forthcoming PlayStation VR.
Both Star Trek: Bridge Crew and Eagle Flight have been confirmed for multiple formats, including PlayStation VR, HTC Vive and Oculus Rift. Star Trek: Bridge Crew is set to launch 29th November 2016 on all three formats, while Eagle Flight will debut on Oculus Rift 18th October, followed by PlayStation VR and HTC Vive on 8th November and 20th December, respectively.
The final title in the trio, Werewolves Within, has as yet only been confirmed for release on PlayStation VR, despite having made its debut on Oculus Rift. Werewolves Within will launch on 6th December 2016, with potential Oculus Rift and HTC Vive release dates still yet to be discussed.
