Last month VRFocus reported on the launch of a new 360 degree experience from Square Enix designed to promote Avalanche Studios’ anticipated upcoming title, Just Cause 3. Named the Just Cause 3 Wingsuit Experience the video was initially posted up onto the Android and iOS mobile operating systems (OSs) and could be viewed with the Google Cardboard mobile head-mounted display (HMD). For those that don’t own the device, or would rather view it without downloading an app, the company has today released a new trailer for it online. It can now be seen below.

The 2 minute clip, taken from within Just Cause 3 itself, follows protagonist Rico as he makes a dramatic skydive from a the top of a plane and around an enemy complex using a wingsuit, occasionally stopping to blow things up with a rocket launcher. It later cuts to a more picturesque sequence or Rico soaring across mountains before arriving at another enemy facility to cause more carnage. On YouTube, viewers can drag the camera in any direction they wish to get the best view, while in the YouTube app on Android it can still be viewed using Google Cardboard.

Just Cause 3 hits in December 2015, but isn’t expected to boast any kind of VR support of its own. VRFocus will continue to follow any and all VR experiences, reporting back with the latest updates on them.
